A busy summer so far for Fulmart's sponsored rider.

Recent update...

"Uttoxetter went well with On Cue coming 7th and On Show coming 15th , there were about 65 in the class so i was pleased with that result!

Buckminster was a learning curve with Alphonso doing a a beautiful dressage to score a 26 and clear showjumping.  After his 'almost' fall at Cumwhinton we were unsure how he would take the xc but he set off with full steam, so much so we ran past a fence giving us a horrible 20 penalties! Although very disappointed we were happy that he felt so bold! On Stage did a lovely test with a 33 and just rolled a pole showjumping.  She felt tired after winning at Aske the week before and as she's only 6 years old I decided to withdraw her and not run her xc.

Hutton in the Forest started and finished early!!!! A lovely 3 am start...when we arrived they cancelled the event so we were back home by 10 am! never mind....!

Clover ( On Springs) had a brilliant, confident run around the Advanced at Aston Le Walls doing a 35 test, one down showjumping and clear xc just finishing out of the top 10.

We then went to Ryedale Country Show with On Cue who came 2nd scoring the highest mark of the day in the jumping with 38/40. She has now qualified for the Burghley Young Event horse Finals held in September.

Then had the trip up to Edinbrough for Hopetoun. Clover did a lovely test in the 3 star,  a 55 and then just rolled a pole in the showjumping which was so unlucky as she jumped amazingly.  We then think she must have trod on a stone coming out of the arena as she went very lame and I had to get the vet to look at her.  At first we were all really worried that she had strained something and after we had spoken to the vet, they advised us to withdraw, so we did.  I bandaged her up and she stood on the lorry while I competed On A Star who was doing the 2 star. Roller (On A Star) went really well doing a 48 test; again with just one down in the showjumping and clear xc to finish 12th in a really strong section!   After we had done Roller I pulled Clover off the lorry with no heat in any of her legs she trotted up perfectly sound! Very annoying but as she is my pride and joy we felt we had made the right decision to withdraw her.

Alphonso, On Stage and On Cue are all heading to Richmond, On Cue making her eventing debut in the BE100.

Clover and Roller are now heading to Winkburn for a nice easy run around the Intermediate-novice before they both head to Blenheim to do the 3 star, roller doing the 8/9 year class.

On Cue is then heading to Burghley for the 5 year old finals and then we have Blenheim!

And before all that kicks off I'm having a sneaky holiday to Spain with my friend Rose Bridgewood".
